Our Story
The owners and operators of Manotick Garden Centre & Landscaping Supplies are Richard, Shirley, Suzanne and Aaron who bring more than 37 years of experience in landscape and gardening to the business. As a family business, we understand how gardens and gardening bring families and neighbourhoods together.
In the spring of 2001, we opened our business (then called Green Acres). Originally, we focused on growing and selling annuals, trees, shrubs and perennials, along with some landscaping supplies. What we discovered was that Canada’s capital region is full of people who love to garden and create backyard landscapes. Our Ottawa landscaping supplies business boomed. Now, nearly 25 years since we first envisioned our business, Manotick Garden Centre & Landscaping Supplies covers 4 acres and supplies many of Ottawa’s organic growers, landscaping contractors and avid home gardeners with high-quality plants, soil, mulch, natural stone and much more.

We still cherish our roots as a garden centre, growing and selling annuals, herbs, vegetables and other plants. If you’re looking for distinctive and unique perennials or shrubs to be the mainstays of your garden, you’ll find them at our Garden Centre too! Successful gardening requires the right soil, fertilizers and other supplies for healthy plants – and you’ll find those in our store as well.

Small projects? You can drive in and have us load you with bulk products or pick up our conveniently bagged products, ready to go. For larger purchases, schedule our affordable delivery services in the Ottawa area and surrounding communities. We also do SPLIT LOAD DELIVERIES to give you more affordable and timely service.
